Dickie Jarman - Technical Production Manager
Dickie began his career in stage production when he joined the stage crew at The Chichester Festival Theatre in 1986 where he worked on a variety of productions until he earned his Equity card in 1987.
He then went Freelance as a Technical Stage Manager and worked for a variety of Companies including Glyndebourne Festival Opera, Alexander Roy London Ballet Theatre, York Theatre Royal, Oxford Stage Company, UK, Europe & USA Tours, Western Australian Theatre & Opera Company and Chichester Festival Theatre, for five consecutive seasons as Stage & Production Manager. Also Show transfers to the West End.
The opportunity came along to move across into the events industry where he continued to work as a freelance Production and Stage Manager working on a variety of projects from Celebrity parties, AGM's, Exhibition stands, Business Meetings, Car launches, Road Shows and Concerts.
Dickie has Project & Production managed conferences, press launches, exhibitions, parties, gala evenings, concerts & events for various clients including, Kellogg’s, Toyota, B&Q, Marks & Spencer, Argos, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Delaval, Daimler Chrysler, Microsoft, Visa, National Grid, BT ,McDonald’s, HSBC, KESA, Schering Plough, Avensis , KPMG, Buena Vista Television, Reuters, Royal & Sun Alliance Vodafone, Coca Cola, BMW, D&AD , & Pirelli.
In 2005 he registered Gorgeous Solutions which has traded successfully and continuously since. Gorgeous & Dickie continue to work with a wide base of agencies as a freelance Technical Director/Production Manager but has also worked directly for a small number of clients including Goodwood Road Racing Company, who are responsible for the world famous “Goodwood Festival of Speed”
